What Is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

This is a type of therapy that has become very popular in the last 20 years and it focuses on how you think (cognitions) and what you do (behaviour). It is based on the theory that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours are all connected to each other and that by challenging one of these will help you change your negative patterns and improve the way you feel.
